A metal detectorist uncovered 11 unexploded devices whilst sweeping the beach at Sandwich Bay in Kent. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called in to carry out controlled explosions by the Police.
It is understood that the munitions were all smoke-filled.
