A suspected 9-inch shell was found at Derriford Business Park near Plymouth. Police evacuated nearby buildings and put a 200m safety cordon in place whilst an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team made the short trip from HM Naval Base Devonport.
The EOD team declared the device safe and removed it shortly afterwards.
