During remedial works at Rufford Abbey an anti-tank shell has been found, the Royal Logistics Corps’ bomb disposal team were called to safely remove the non-explosive shell.
Turf was being removed at Bluebell Wood, around 150 yards from the Abbey, when the shell was discovered on 5th July.
