An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to Orford Ness for the second time this month after a member of the public spotted an artillery shell on the beach. It follows on from a similar discovery at the start of August.
The EOD team confirmed that the shell was expended and removed it for safe disposal.
