An artillery shell was found in a field in Suffolk where a housing development is proposed. The 30cm long device was unearthed in the village of Elmswell and removed by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team of the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC).
A controlled explosion was not required.
