Controlled Explosion for 3-Inch Mortar Found at Bembridge

A controlled explosion was undertaken after the discovery of a 3-inch mortar on the beach at Bembridge, Isle of Wight.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the Royal Navy at Portsmouth was called out after a member of the public found the device.
