Controlled Explosion for Shell found in Bournemouth Garage

An unexploded shell found in a garage at Dean Park, Bournemouth was destroyed in a controlled explosion. A 100m cordon was put in place around the property in which the shell was found before an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team arrived to remove the item.

The EOD team took the shell to Hengitsbury Head, to the east of Bournemouth, and destroyed it in a controlled explosion.
