An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called after a member of the public found an item of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) and took it back to their home in Newmarket, Suffolk.
It is unknown where the device was found but fortunately the EOD team were alerted and they were due to carry out a controlled explosion at a nearby playing field.
