Controlled Explosion for UXO Found in Chelmsford

A residential street in Chelmsford, Essex was cordoned off by Police after the discovery of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) – suspected to be a WWII shell – during interior renovation works at a property.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called and they took the device to a nearby park where it was destroyed in a controlled explosion.
