An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team carried out a controlled explosion on Southsea beach in Portsmouth after the discovery of a shell and several flares.
Fortunately, the Royal Navy EOD unit is local to the area and they were able to attend quickly to dispose of the items.
