Grenade Found in the Canal at Leigh

A suspected WWII-era hand grenade was found in the Leeds and Liverpool Canal at Leigh in the latest such incident involving magnet fishermen.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to deal with the device.
