A recycling centre in Exmouth was closed for the day after the discovery of smoke grenades and ammunition. Unfortunately such finds are not uncommon, with residents occasionally choosing to dispose of unwanted souvenirs through the recycling system.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team arrived and removed the items for a much safer disposal.
