Hand Grenade Fished From Birmingham Canal

A World War Two (WWII) hand grenade was found by a magnet fisherman in Birmingham. The fisherman pulled the device from a canal in Castle Vale and called the Police.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised and they moved the grenade to a nearby park for a controlled explosion.
