The former Chiseldon Camp
A controlled explosion was undertaken by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team after a hand grenade was found in a field near Chiseldon, Swindon.
The grenade was found by a member of the public on land off Cambrai Road, which is within the boundary of the former Chiseldon Camp, a major military training centre during World War One (WWI) and World War Two (WWII).
