A suspected World War Two (WWII) mortar shell was found on the banks of the Little Ouse river in Thetford. A security cordon of 50m was put in place prior to the arrival of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
The EOD team confirmed that the device had no explosive content and removed it from the scene for disposal.
