The MoD is preparing to remove soil contaminated with Mustard Gas from Roughton Moor after the shock find of the notorious chemical weapon last month.
About 150 canisters of Mustard Gas were found in a lake and adjacent woodland near to the former WWII military airfield RAF Woodhall Spa.
The canisters were removed to the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down for safe disposal, with the contaminated soil now needing to be addressed.
