More Ordnance Found at Medmerry Beach in Selsey

More ordnance-related items have been found on the site of a former bombing range at Medmerry Beach in West Sussex. It follows the discovery of an air-dropped device in the same area just a few weeks ago.

After a suspicious casing was found by the Coastguard, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called and they subsequently found further items that required destruction.

With coastal erosion and winter storms continuing to affect this stretch of coastline, such finds are likely to be come more common.
