More Ordnance Found on new Burntwood Housing Development

Another potential Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) has been found on the site of a new housing development in Burntwood, Staffordshire. Access to the new estate was prohibited until an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team could assess the device. It follows on from the discovery of countless similar items over the past few years, the site previously being used as an ordnance dismantling facility.

As one resident asked: ‘how can they still be finding bombs there?’
