Mortar Finds Disrupt Beach Visitors Near Carnoustie

Easter weekend beach goers near Carnoustie were disappointed when their lounging was disrupted for 24 hours after the discovery of unexploded mortars. The devices were found at Easthaven beach and were required to be destroyed in a controlled explosion by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
