An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called after a magnet fisherman pulled a World War Two mortar from the Calder & Hebble Navigation in Dewsbury. Police put in place a security cordon until the EOD team arrived.
The EOD team confirmed that the mortar was live and removed it for safe disposal.
