Mortar Found at Horsey Gap in Norfolk

The discovery of an old mortar shell closed part of the beach and car park at Horsey Gap – famed for its seal colony – and resulted in police mobilising an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.

The EOD team confirmed that the mortar was alert and removed it from the scene for disposal.
