The location of Wicken Green adjacent to RAF Sculthorpe
A member of the public found a suspected World War Two (WWII) mortar at Wicken Green near Fakenham in Norfolk. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised and dealt with the device.
The village of Wicken Green is located adjacent to the former Royal Air Force (RAF) Sculthorpe airfield, now known as Sculthorpe Training Area.
