A prospective bar owner in Taverham near Norwich got a shock when weeding his front garden over the Easter weekend. He discovered a World War Two mortar.
Fortunately, the resident photographed the item and sent the images to the Police. They subsequently mobilised an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team who removed the device.
