Phosphorus Device Found on Montrose Beach

A phosphorus-filled training marker was destroyed in a controlled explosion after being found on St Cyrus beach near Montrose.

After the Coastguard was called out, they mobilised a Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team to deal with the device in situ.
