An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was tasked to the beach at Tregantle in Cornwall after the discovery of a phosphorus-filled illumination device.
The device was found by a member of the public who alerted the Looe Coastguard team. A security cordon was put in place before the EOD team arrived to carry out a controlled explosion.
