Practice Munitions Found in Norfolk Shed

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to Burgh Castle after the discovery of suspected WWII munitions in a garden shed. On inspection, the items were found to be concrete-filled 29mm spigot mortars and a No. 36 hand grenade, common practice munitions during the war.

The items were removed for disposal.
