Rising Smoke at Former TA Site Prompts Bomb Squad Call

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to a construction site in Lochgelly, Scotland after workers saw smoke rising from the ground.

The site is part of a former Territorial Army (TA) centre and it is believed that an excavator bucket may have pierced a smoke or phosphorus-filled munition. The EOD team safely dealt with the incident.
