Second Burnham Call-Out in a Week for Bomb Squad

For the second time this week, the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were called to Burnham-on-Sea. After the discovery of a large cache of munitions in a residential garden, another local raised the alarm over some Anti-Aircraft (AA) shells that had come into her possession.

The EOD team confirmed that the shells may still provide a hazard and took them to Berrow Beach for destruction in a controlled explosion.
