An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called in after the discovery of a suspected WWII artillery shell at an industrial estate in Liverpool. The device was found in the Kirkdale district and prompted the temporary closure of several local roads.
The EOD team arrived and removed the shell for safe disposal.
