A suspected unexploded shell was found on a building site adjacent to the Council offices in Lowestoft. The discovery prompted the evacuation of local businesses as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised. The EOD team confirmed that the device was inert and removed it for disposal.
