An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to a property in Kendoon, Dumfries & Galloway, after a father and son discovered Unexploded Ordnance (UXO).
The pair were chopping firewood from a felled oak tree on their land when they found the device, described as being ‘about 15 inches long’. Police evacuated some nearby properties as an EOD team attended the scene. The item was later safely removed.
