Residents were evacuated from central Eton in Berkshire after the discovery of suspected World War Two (WWII) Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) in a public car park.
Police put in place a 50m security cordon whilst an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised. The device was made safe and the cordon lifted.
