For the third time in less than a year, an Unexploded Bomb (UXB) from World War Two has been found at a planned residential development in Kings Hill near Maidstone, Kent.
The site is part of the former Royal Air Force (RAF) West Malling airfield, which was heavily-bombed during the Battle of Britain in 1940.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team will carry out a controlled explosion once suitable blast mitigation measures are put in place, the Police having initially established a safety cordon in the area.
