Two unexploded shells have been found exposed on the beach at Walcott in North Norfolk. A member of the public initially spotted one of the shells, which seems to have been uncovered during recent stormy weather.
After inspection, the Police mobilised an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team, which destroyed the shell in situ.
A second shell was subsequently noticed by a local resident in the same area and is likely to be detonated too.
