Unexploded Grenade Found in Woodland Near Church Crookham

A safety cordon was put in place after an unexploded grenade was found in woodland near Church Crookham on the Surrey-Hampshire border. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to the scene and they safely removed the grenade.

Church Crookham has a long military history, having been the location of Army barracks for many decades, with the surrounding woodland and heathland often used for training exercises.
