Unexploded Ordnance Found at Royal Troon Golf Club

A Royal Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called to the Portland course of the Royal Troon Golf Club after the discovery of several items of suspected Unexploded Ordnance (UXO).

The items were found during routine maintenance work and resulted in the Police being called. An EOD team was subsequently mobilised and it is understood that the items will be removed to a safe location and destroyed in a controlled explosion.
