A controlled explosion was carried out after Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) was found in the Kilpatrick Hills. The item (type unspecified) was found by a member of the public who called the Police.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised and they safely destroyed the device in situ.
