A suspected ‘unexploded bomb’ was found in woodland at Kinver near Stourbridge in Worcestershire. A member of the public alerted the police to the find (type unconfirmed) and they sent an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team to the scene.
It was confirmed that the EOD team later carried out a controlled explosion to destroy the device.
