Unexploded Second World War bomb was discovered in the West Midlands

The explosive was discovered by a workman in Bliston and was described as a Second World War mortar. This is the second find in a week in this area.

The controlled explosion was carried out on what looked like a building site at around 8.30pm on the 16th May.
