Unexploded Shells Destroyed at Former Army Barracks

Several unexploded artillery shells have been destroyed in controlled explosions at a former Army barracks near Oswestry. The procedure is part of planned works to clear the site of ordnance prior to its redevelopment for housing.

Park Hall Camp served as an Army training area during both World Wars.
