Police closed off a park in Peterborough after a magnet fisherman pulled suspected Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) from the River Nene at Orton Mere Lock.
The device was described as being approximately 10cm in length and 2.5cm diameter and was removed by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
