UXO Found in Worthing Garden Destroyed in Controlled Explosion

A local resident was shocked to find a piece of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) in their back garden in Worthing.  The device (type unspecified) was removed by an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the Royal Navy and taken to the beach at Goring Gap where it was destroyed in a controlled explosion.
