An item of Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) has been removed from a building site near Greenwich Shopping Park in Charlton. The device (exact type unknown) caused temporary road closures in the surrounding area prior to the arrival of an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team.
The EOD team confirmed that the item was safe to move and the cordon was promptly lifted.
