A suspected unexploded wartime munition was destroyed in a controlled explosion after being found in a field off Brompton Farm Road in Strood.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the Royal Logistics Corps (RLC) dealt with the item having been alerted by the Police.
The type and condition of the item is currently unknown.
