Wartime Shell Removed From Cornish Village

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team removed a suspected wartime practice shell from a house in Pelynt, Cornwall, after the resident had found it in a nearby field.

It was reported that the field in question may have been the location of a WWII munitions stored used by the Home Guard.
