Landscape gardeners got a surprise at a property in Weeton, North Yorkshire, after they uncovered an old shell whilst digging the footings for a new fence. Having passed the shell between themselves and taken a series of photos, they decided to inform the Police who told them to immediately evacuate the site.
An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was mobilised and they were able to safely remove the shell.
