WWII Shell Found on Beach at Studland

An unexploded shell has been found on Knoll Beach at Studland.  An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team has been mobilised to deal with the device.

The Studland area was extensively used for military training during World War Two (WWII), particularly prior to the D-Day landings.
