WWII Shell Prompts Evacuation in Falkirk

18.08.2016Homes were evacuated in Falkirk after the discovery of a live WWII shell in the back garden of a residential property. A safety cordon was put in place, involving the closure of local roads, until an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team arrived.

The shell was removed and destroyed in a controlled explosion nearby.
