Bomb Scare for Salford Residents After Garden Shed Find

Several residential properties were evacuated after a woman discovered WWII-era ordnance in her garden shed.  Police put in place a safety cordon after the device was discovered in a bag of rubble.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team was called in and they assessed the device as safe before removing it.  Then cordon was then lifted.
