An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team undertook a controlled detonation after the discovery of a suspected 300lb bomb on the south coast of Guernsey.
Found at the bottom of cliffs, such bombs were left by German occupiers during World War Two as an anti-invasion defence.
With the fuze believed to be intact, the bomb was destroyed in situ.
